REFUND POLICY
How refunds work for consulting services provided by Tractor Channel Machinery.
Overview
Tractor Channel Machinery provides professional consulting services rather than physical goods. Because our work involves dedicated time, analysis, and senior judgment, this Refund Policy explains the circumstances in which refunds may apply. It should be read together with our Payment Policy and Consulting Terms.
Consultations
Initial consultations are charged at the agreed rate and are payable in advance. As this time is reserved specifically for you, consultation fees are generally non-refundable once the session has taken place. If you need to reschedule, please give us reasonable notice and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Project Engagements
For larger project engagements, the basis for any refund is governed by the statement of work agreed before the project begins. In general:
- Before work begins — if you cancel before any work has started, we will refund amounts paid, less any non-recoverable costs already incurred and any time already spent on scoping or preparation;
- After work begins — once work is underway, fees for completed and in-progress work are non-refundable, as that time and expertise have already been committed;
- Milestone projects — where work is structured around milestones, each completed milestone is considered delivered and is non-refundable.
Retainer and Monthly Advisory
Monthly advisory and retainer arrangements are billed for the period of service. You may cancel future periods with the notice set out in your agreement. Fees for the current and any completed periods are non-refundable, as availability has been reserved on your behalf.
If You Are Not Satisfied
Your satisfaction matters to us. If you feel that the work delivered has not met what was agreed, please contact us promptly and describe your concerns. We will review the matter in good faith and work with you toward a fair resolution, which may include revising or completing the relevant deliverable. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.
